Looking Forward, by Looking Back

Let's face is 2016 sucked and I don't me just for me personally but pretty much everyone, and I don't know about you but I am ready for it to be over.

Before I talk about what I hope for in the year to come I would like to remember a few people who have passed on, these people all influenced my life in one way or another.

I would like to start with Harper Lee, who taught me to be color blind and Elie Weisel, who taught me to be strong in the face of ultimate hardship and that no matter what you go through you have to keep living and loving.

There were also a few Musicians and Actors that passed this year that I will always miss. David Bowie, taught me that it's ok to be me even if I'm a freak. Alan Rickman, taught me that you can say a thousand words with your eyes. Arnold Palmer and John Glenn, taught me that age was just a number.

Lastly my Mom, Leesa, taught me that mommies are human and make mistakes, but that's ok they still love their kids and would do anything for them.

I hope 2017 is better that 2016. I hope all of you have a wonderful and Blessed New Year.

Time for a Kick in The @$$

As most of you know I have diabetes, and this week I had my 6 month check up; this is basically to check on all my numbers and make sure I am staying on track with my diabetes and over all health.

Well lets just say with all I have been going through the past 6 months my numbers all suck...
Cholesterol - sucks, A1C -Sucks, Triglycerides - Suck, and now I'm anemic. I have no one to blame for this except myself and I know that I am the only one who can change it so, it time to to kick my own @$$ and get back on track.

So this means back to my gym and workout routines, back to eating healthy, and time to tell this depression to hit the road I have things to do. Basically it time to get of my @$$ and move.

I will be posting my goals some pics and being braver than I have in a long time in my next post so stay tuned.

Super Moon, Fresh Sacred Space, and a New Friend...

I have had a wonderful week so far, and I want to share some of it with you.

First we had the super moon and though she was behind the clouds most of the time I did manage to get a peek or to of her beauty.

I also took advantage of the amazing energy coming from the super moon and cleaned and rearranged my sacred space.

Wide view so you can see my entire work area

I also went to a fundraiser last night for a local cat rescue and made a new friend while helping some amazing kitties; he says his name is Bob.

This is Bob, he is made of Unakite
I hope your week has been great so far and continues to be just as good.

I'm Back...... after a very long, unwanted hiatus

So all the way back in January, I told you how well my year had started off and what our plans were for an awesome 2016; well, all that crap went out the window quick.

2016 has been a year of sadness, disappointment, fear, and loss.

It started with my step-dad losing his entire right leg(including his hip) because of cancer, then my mom went into the hospital in mid April; she never came out, we lost her on June 27th, and to be honest I am still reeling from that loss.

Throwback of a 4yr old me and my Mom
In August while still trying to recover from the loss of my mom, we found out that my wonderful husband had a bulging disc in his neck that was compromising his spinal cord and that he needed surgery asap.

Thankfully his surgery went great and he is doing really good still some pain but nothing like it was before surgery, and he is back to work which is good for his sanity and recovery.

There has been some good to all of this I have found out how strong I am and how I want to live my life, during this discovery I realized how much I missed blogging and how much I missed interacting with all of you; so I am going to try and start blogging more and get back to being the me that I love, I hope you will be patient with me and josin me on this journey of rediscovery.

Happily Busy!!!

I have started 2016 on a happy, positive, and busy note and I hope it stays this way...

My biz is doing growing, slowly but still it's growing; just had two new clients this week, one or balancing the chakras and one was for a healing grid. I am happy with Back To Nature is going and can't wait to see where it is by 2017.

My personal life has also been a lot better the last little bit, the hubby and I decided to start the year on a very positive note and to make some changes in the way we look at things. We are keeping a gratitude jar as well as having monthly date nights. We have also out of necessity had to remove a few very negitive people out of our lives, and yes we have already seen a difference.

We have also been making improvements on our home, the best of which will be here on Saturday, it's a new convection oven and I can't wait to cook on it.  All 3 of my girls are back in school and/or college after their winter breaks and of course that frees up some of my time, but I am still staying busy... Happily Busy :-)

New Year, New Name, New Me...I Hope

Hiya lovely people, I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted but 2015 was full of ups and and downs for me (I'll post on most of it later).

I am starting 2016 on a positive note and with several goals in mind one of which is this blog. my main goal pertaining to my blog is to post at least once a week; these post can and will be about anything from my life, and business, to what ever is aggravating me at the time.

I hope to see you all along the way and hear from you as well,

remember nobody's perfect but we can all be imperfect together :-)
